So the snap-on smile is an acrylic overlay that if a patient comes in to me as they did this week and they were in a, let’s say, a biking accident and their teeth are chipped or broken and they had to have something quickly done because they’re having an event or they’re going to work and they can’t show up with half their front teeth missing, a snap-on smile is just an acrylic overlay that’s made in the laboratory and it just fits over top of whatever damage is there and can give that patient immediate smile redesign. The tooth extraction went very well. The dentist provided a pain free experience. However when I called the week before and explained to the secretary it was an emergency, I had an abcessed tooth, had no medicine or antibiotic and could I speak to the dentist or get a call back, she did not pass on the message. I had to go to a walk in clinic and wait with the place filled with very sick people to get an antibiotic. My normally low blood pressure was 147 over whatever. The dentist said she would have called back. Other than that it is always a pleasant place.
