I’ve been a patient at Guilford Hills Dental Care for many, many years and I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. Going to the dentist is not really something that is on the top of my list of things I like to do, however, the staff is very friendly and professionally and they have a way to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. If the pulp inside your tooth becomes infected, you’ll need to have a root canal or remove the tooth. Otherwise, the infection can worsen and spread to your jaw and even elsewhere in your body, causing potentially serious health issues. You’ll recover more easily from a root canal than an extraction, and it keeps your tooth structure in place.
Although many people believe that root canal therapy is painful, it is no more uncomfortable than getting a tooth filled. We’ll use a local anesthetic to make sure the tooth is numb before we begin your procedure. That way you can relax and feel confident that you’re not going to feel any discomfort.
Treatment costs can vary greatly for a root canal, so you will need to come in for an initial exam and imaging before we can give you a cost for your particular procedure. For your convenience, we do offer several convenient payment options, including financing through a third party.
